Seeing as how the film releases just a few months after Infinity War, Ant-Man and The Wasp will have a lot to deal with.

Infinity War is guaranteed to shake up the MCU in a big way, and, with multiple deaths almost certainly arriving at some point or another, it's apparent that perhaps Ant-Man and The Wasp won't be as fun-loving or as mischievous as its predecessor. No doubt it'll still be a fun film, particularly so given who's involved, but it also has the added responsibility of navigating a universe emerging from what could very well be a cataclysmic event.

Given how both Ant-Man and The Wasp have always been massive influences in The Avengers, it wouldn't be at all surprising to see them possibly acclimatising to heavier roles within the group. Doubly so, if Infinity War's body count is as high as some suspect.
