Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania - 8 Reasons It Sucks

5. It's Just Not Funny

Ant-Man has always been one of the funniest MCU heroes and there was a lot of effective humor in the first two films. In particular, the comedy in Ant-Man and the Wasp was one of the only awesome things in what is otherwise one of the MCU's worst films.

To be fair, Quantumania does have a few funny moments in the opening act, including a very amusing running gag involving a telepath named Quaz (William Jackson Harper) but as the film goes on, it quickly starts playing it all far, far too straight for its own good and the jokes it does bother to deploy largely fall flat.

In particular, there's a scene where Hank and Janet are talking about each other's sex lives during the thirty years they were apart which is just groan-worthy.
