3. A Musical Let-Down?

After Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther and even Infinity War's recent trailers were so stunningly effective in musical terms, it's a real shame that Marvel didn't go with something with a little more... identity than this trailer track.

Couldn't they have sprung for All The Small Things by Blink 182 and rocked it up even more? Or Don't Stop Believin' by Journey for it's "JUST A SMALLTOWN GIRL...!" line? It's a little on the nose, of course, but it would arguably suit the tone of Ant-Man better than generic superhero heist music.

Then again, this is mostly a case of Marvel struggling to match their own creative benchmarks, and there's nothing really WRONG with the music per se. It could have just been better.
