Ant-Man And The Wasp: Who Is Villain Ghost?

As Infinity War displayed so ruthlessly, comic book movies are very fond of deception at the moment. It's a great tactic to ensure that audiences are surprised when they actually get their butts in theatres, and (though it may slightly defeat the purpose of the process now), it looks as though Peyton Reed's Ant-Man sequel has done the same.

Though Ghost has been positioned as the antagonist of the feature thus far, signs have pointed towards the character taking on a more ambiguous role instead. This would make sense, owing to the fact that the character's comic book motivations are quite sympathetic, as well as the fact that both Vulture and Killmonger were lauded for their own compelling motivations in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Black Panther respectively.

Other than the fact that Ghost has been stealing Pym tech as Hank, Scott and Hope open up the Quantum Realm, not much else is known about this version of the character. She's not likely to be "taking over the world" - as was implied in the second trailer - but it must have something to do with Walton Goggins, who'll be playing Sonny Burch, a character who (in the comics) had connections to Darren Cross.
