Ant-Man Reviews: 10 Early Reactions You Need To Know
5. There Are Two Post-Credits Sequences, And They Rule
Along with meta-franchises, endless reboots and comic book movies in general being the new hotness, Marvel Studios can be blamed for single-handedly introducing post-credits sequences as something audiences expect in all films now. Since the first Iron Man they've used these short interludes to tease their future movie plans... with a notable exception. Avengers: Age Of Ultron had a mid-credits sequence, which isn't really the same thing, and all that consisted of was a few measly seconds of über-baddie Thanos talking to himself. At this point, fans have been lead to expect something a bit more substantial. Ant-Man will certainly win fans by giving them what they want. According to reports the film includes both a mid and post-credits scene, and both are worth waiting for. Which are apparently wonderful and each better than the last. Given that Paul Rudd's diminutive hero is set to make an appearance in the next Captain America movie, perhaps those scenes might provide a lead in to Civil War...?
