2. How Long Will They Be In The Quantum Realm?
The Quantum Realm is a tricky place. If you go down there there is absolutely no guarantee that you will ever return, and even if you do, who knows what you will bring back with you? Hank Pym started the zombie apocalypse in a different corner of the multiverse after all.
One thing we do know is that time moves differently in the Quantum Realm. Scott Lang was trapped inside the micro-universe for five years, though to him it was just five hours. This begs the question, how long will he be down there this time?
Even if the events of the movie play out in real time, something which in itself is relatively unrealistic, this would put Scott, Hope, Hank, Janet, and Cassie out of action for roughly two hours. This would be two hours to them, but two years to the real world.
The MCU timeline is already confusing enough without another time jump ahead, so how long can they really stay down there? The key may be in the bargain that Kang offered Scott. He could send him home and give him more time. Does this mean he could be sent back to when he was first sucked into the Quantum Realm in the first place?
