Ant Man & The Wasp Reviews: 10 Early Reactions You Need To See
9. Michael Peña Steals The Show (Again)
"Michael Peña is brilliant as Scott’s garrulous partner-in-crime Luis, who tends to answer questions with long, rambling stories that lose their way." - IndieWire
"Michael Peña, reprising his role as Scott’s dopey buddy Luis...steals the show during a sequence involving truth serum." - Screen Daily
"Once again, Pena is a scene-stealing standout." - IGN
Arguably the MVP of the original Ant-Man was the brilliant Michael Peña as Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) motormouth pal Luis, and this seems to be very much the case once again this time around.
Though a few reviews did note that Ant-Man and the Wasp recycles his convoluted storytelling gag from the first film, the easy consensus is that he once again delivers the biggest laughs, and is therefore an invaluable asset to the franchise.
A number of reviews went into detail about a certain standout scene involving Luis and truth serum, but we won't elaborate. Needless to say, it sounds hysterical.
