Aquaman: 23 WTF Moments

1. Julie Andrews' Cameo

There are some surprises on the cast list, including Djimon Hounsou turning up for about three seconds and John Rhys-Davies voicing the Brine king for roughly the same amount of time. Watching Dolph Lundgren be the most subtle actor in the entire thing is also about as Upside Down universe as you'll ever encounter.

But nothing in the whole thing matches the fact that Julie Andrews plays the Karathen for weirdness. Despite not turning up for a cameo in the new Mary Poppins, she clearly thought this was more worthy of her time and lends her silky vocals to the kaiju-like monstrosity from the depths of the Trench.

It's the kind of surrealism that makes you wonder just how much LSD was involved in making this film.
