21. Butt Highlights

A lot of money went into the effects work on Aquaman - that much is very clear. There's probably about 3 shots in the entire film that don't have an aggressive amount of CGI in them, from smoothing everyone's heads to adding layers of glisten to Jason Momoa's outrageous muscles. Oh, and all of those fish races and there monster whips.

One area that was very obviously invested in - a little too obviously, in fact - was the highlight work that went into making sure Amber Heard's bottom shone as much as possible. In almost every scene she's in, when she's swimming away from the camera, there's an unnecessary amount of light detailing on her butt, in stark contrast to anyone else's butt who might be swimming right next to her in exactly the same lighting.

Additionally, her outfit was changed from her Justice League appearance to show more bare skin for precisely no reason. Well, for a reason, but it's an unfortunate one by the look of it. It's another string to the bow of those suggesting this film has a problem with representation, which it does.
