Aquaman Reviews: 9 Early Reactions You Have To See

One element that even the more middle-of-the-road reactions seem to be gushing over is the visuals. Apparently, between the first-rate CGI, Don Burgess' cinematography, and some incredible uses of lighting and color, the film has a visual palette that is distinctly its own and a marked step-up from the usual DC visuals.

Elsewhere, the film earned positive comparisons to the likes of The Matrix and Lord of the Rings, thanks to its expansive and fantastical worldbuilding visuals.
