Aquaman Reviews: 9 Early Reactions You Have To See

While this is sure to ruffle the feathers of hardcore fans of Snyder's original version of the DCEU, Aquaman is inspiring lots of comparisons to Marvel's films.

The reactions mostly mean it as a positive thing, in that the DC films seem to have finally found their footing in terms of tone but they're also making sure to mention that it's more reminiscent of Phase One Marvel than any of their more recent outings.

"I'll take some heat for this, but Aquaman is the best Marvel movie that DC has made. That doesn't mean it's exactly like that formula, but it feels like a film that knows what it is, what it's selling and who it's selling to. There's no identity crisis here."
