2. Atlantis Looks INCREDIBLE

Almost a decade ago, James Cameron's imagination gave birth to his magnum opus, with Avatar introducing the world to the beautiful, visually stunning environments of Pandora. Since then, few films have managed to do world building quite so well, but Aquaman has already made a claim to that achievement.

Atlantis actualyl looks a lot like Pandora, given its colour scheme and the almost alien elements. It proves the inspired decision to make a sub-aquatic comic book movie: because we don't get to see that world a lot, it ends up looking like another planet entirely. There's just nowhere on Earth's surface that could really provide that sort of difference.

If the substance of the story can match how gorgeous its backdrop looks, we're in for a major treat.
