4. Getting Old? Chomp A Cigar
As much as we might like to ignore it, our action heroes are getting older, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is no exception. The guy still looks good for 65, and his recent films thankfully draw total attention to his age rather than attempting to ignore it (Stallone should really take note of that). Still, there are a few key ways to stave off old age, or at least give that impression on-screen, and Arnie has recently proven himself a master of it; spending millions on a make-up department can do plenty, but really a lot of it rests with the vibe and swagger that the actor conveys to the audience. Case in point; look at The Expendables 2, where Arnie is decked out in a fancy shirt, with a badass jacket over the top, and best of all, he's chomping on a cigar, which has become something of a trademark of his in real life. Some guys are the cigar and slippers sort of old man; Arnie is a cigar and machine gun sort of old man. If his recent forays into action prove anything, it's that he's still got it, and old age hasn't slowed him down (too much).
