4. The Impressive Supporting Cast

In addition to Theron and Boutella, this film has an outstanding supporting cast, namely James McAvoy as Berlin station chief David Percival, who damn near steals the movie away from Theron at times, as well as John Goodman, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan and Bill Skarsgård.

It's fair to say that none of the supporting players beyond McAvoy really get a ton of riveting material to work with, but each nevertheless adds charm to a movie already overflowing with it.

Goodman and Jones, as two intelligence officers who Broughton is relaying her far-fetched story to, are especially amusing with their exasperation at each insane new wrinkle to the plot.
