Avengers: 12 BEST Abandoned Endgame & Infinity War Ideas

The MCU has always had a tendency to trick us with its movie trailers, promising something that doesn't ultimately happen within the movie, or hiding something that does. The Maximoff twins were taken out of a scene for the Age of Ultron trailer, as was Spider-Man with the Civil War marketing, and Far From Home teased the multiverse that never actually appeared.

Infinity War was no different, showing a handful of Avengers charging into battle in Wakanda, with the Hulk right there behind Cap and Black Widow. Of course, in reality, after Hulk was beaten to a pulp by the Mad Titan in the opening scenes of the movie, he didn't show his face again.

It was different, and intriguing at the very least seeing Bruce Banner suit up as the Hulkbuster for the battle in Wakanda, however it can't be denied that seeing Hulk smash through some Outriders would have been even better.

Aside from just making his way through cannon fodder, we really could have done with seeing Hulk match up with Thanos again, angrier than ever. It was originally the plan for the green monster to make an appearance in Wakanda, but was ultimately sacrificed, allowing Banner to take over Iron Man's biggest armour to date.
