6. Shuri Becomes The Next Black Panther
Since Shuri has been known to suit up in Black Panther gear in the comic books, Marvel fans are convinced this is about to happen in the movies - echoed here by Elite Daily - and while there is a good chance it will come to pass, Avengers 4 feels too soon.
Letitia Wright's character may be a genius with an IQ to rival that of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner's combined, but she lacks the experience to serve as the leader of Wakanda following her brother T'Challa's disintegration in Infinity War.
There's a far more credible contender for the throne in Winston Duke’s M’Baku, who has honed his leadership skills at the head of the Jabari tribe. He even staked a claim for the throne in Black Panther when he took on T'Challa in ritual combat.
M’Baku was something of a show-stealer in Black Panther and he's the most natural choice to take on the mantle along with the throne in Avengers 4. Shuri will make a fantastic Black Panther in the future of the MCU, but now feels premature for that.
