Avengers 4: 10 Twists Nobody Will See Coming

Here's an MCU twist that will likely occur in the run-up to Avengers 4, rather than in the movie itself, but will have a major impact on the film nonetheless.

Since Ant-Man and Wasp were founder members of the Avengers in the comics, the fans are widely expecting the duo to join the team in Avengers 4, not least because their forthcoming team-up movie will bridge the gap between it and Infinity War.

Evangeline Lilly, who plays Wasp, has confirmed her presence in the next Avengers film, though the fact her character did not feature on the leaked team poster does not bode well. This could mean she will only be involved in the same capacity as the heroes who were dusted at the end of Infinity War.

Statistically speaking, Hope van Dyne has a 50/50 chance of surviving Thanos's 'snap' but if she was to perish as a result of it at the end of Ant-Man & The Wasp, this would serve as powerful motivation for Scott Lang, the catalyst which convinces him to seek out the surviving Avengers and join up with them to oppose Thanos.
