His Avengers 4 Fate: Ant-Man was one of the biggest characters who sat Infinity War out, so that must mean he's being teed up for a pivotal role in the sequel.

Set photos have confirmed that he'll interact with Tony and Cap in some measure, and since those two are probably going to have the biggest roles in the movie, Ant-Man is likely to have a massive amount of screen time as well.

The upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp (which is set before Infinity War) is set to further explore the MCU's Quantum Realm - a place where space and time are inapplicable. That's no accident; it surely means that the Quantum Realm will be important in Avengers 4, leaving it up to Ant-Man to help the Avengers use this realm, travel back in time, and try to undo some of Thanos' damage.

Ant-Man won't be on the chopping block in Avengers 4, either. His first movie did well, his second will do better, and an Ant-Man trilogy is definitely on the cards.
