9. Heimdall
Asgard looks to be well represented in Age Of Ultron in general, with Idris Elba already spilling the beans on his appearance in the movie months ago, now finally officially confirmed on this new poster. Elba's casting as Heimdall, the guardian of rainbow bridge Bifröst, was controversial in the first Thor film, because many comic book fans appear to be racists, sadly. Like Skarsgård as Selvig, Elba as Heimdall has played a relatively small but crucial role in both Thor films so far not only acting as the door man between Earth and Asgard, but also giving Thor pointers on what's going on in both realms. This is the first time he's appeared in a non-Thor MCU film, however. And again, exactly how big a part Heimdall has in the somewhat oversubscribed cast list remains to be seen, but there's certainly a bit of action involved: Elba accidentally revealed that he would be in the Avengers sequel
