8. Loki

...his tricky half-brother, Loki, with Tom Hiddleston reprising the role that's effectively made him a household name. Or at least a Tumblr name. It's been confirmed for a while that Loki's going to be in the mix for Age Of Ultron although, from all of the information about the film that's been released so far, it seems unlikely he'll be quite as big a deal as he was in the first Avengers film. In fact, it's going to be interesting to see what context Loki appears in. Obviously Elba somewhat ruined the surprise by blabbing that it would involve himself and Chris Hemsworth as Thor, but will that be a flashback, or happening at the same time as everything else in Age Of Ultron? Because last time audiences saw Loki, it wasn't as Loki. The end of Thor: The Dark World saw the trickster god, who had begrudgingly teamed up with his heroic sibling, before seemingly sacrificing himself to save the day. Then it turned out, in the final shot no less, that he had disguised himself as Odin, king of Asgard. So will the truth come out...?
