Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 10 Reasons It's The Weirdest MCU Movie Ever
2. The Movie Feels Strangely Inconsequential
It makes little to no sense that a movie built on the scale of Avengers: Age Of Ultron and featuring so many famous characters and ideas could feel inconsequential to the franchise, but it kind of does. Despite all the going-ons inherent to Joss Whedon's packed out flick, it lacks impact. Everything considered, Age Of Ultron doesn't feel like it effected the universe to much of a degree, or that the events witnessed will be remembered in the same way as those in the first flick have been. That notion, in itself, is weird - but it's even weirder when you consider that Age Of Ultron is a much "bigger" movie. There are more superheroes, more villains, more plot lines, more battles... and yet, for some reason, all this adds up to a lot less. It almost feels as though you could remove Age Of Ultron from the MCU canon and nothing at all will be lost. A freakin' Avengers movie of no real consequence? Well, it's just plain bonkers.
