Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 8 Things You Need To Know About Paul Bettany's Vision
4. Possibly A Bad Guy Turned Good Guy?
What with being created by Ultron and all, The Vision will almost certainly not begin his MCU career as a good guy. That's fine, there's still time for him Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver look like they're gonna start off on Ultron's side, brawling with the Avengers and brainwashing them and such, but they'll probably come around eventually. They just need a little guidance, some positive influences in their life. The same is true for The Vision, who began as a bad guy in the comics before his humanity had him being won over by the Avengers, and he became a hero instead. That's one of the flaws with Ultron's plan to make him really human in order to infiltrate the group in the first place: he was vulnerable to empathising with his supposed enemies and being convinced by them. Expect a very similar character arc in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. There's still the possibility that he'll be a goodie from the off, perhaps with Stark creating him to go up against Ultron in a last-ditch effort to save the day. Early reports suggest he's gonna be the classic Vision, though, so just know that when he's initially menacing Earth's Mightiest Heroes he's eventually gonna chill.
