Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 8 Things You Need To Know About Paul Bettany's Vision
3. Stuff Happens With Him And The Scarlet Witch
In fact, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch sort of have to follow a similar path, if the films are going to replicate some of the more classic and iconic parts of the comic books which the MCU usually endeavours to do, even when it doesn't necessarily adapt storylines word-for-word or provides new spins on characters. Especially because the twin not-mutants have had some...troubling interpretations of their own relationship over the years. Urgh. If the Scarlet Witch is known for one thing it's, well, using her reality-warping powers to depower 99% of the world's mutants during the House Of M crossover event. Apart from that, though, her powers have been used for slightly better. Because she falls in love with The Vision! Who knows if that's the path that'll be taken by the movie version of the characters, but it seems like a weird coincidence to introduce them both in the same film and not do the classic woman-on-robot romance, which ended with the Witch making the kids she couldn't biologically have with Bettany's character. Who's a robot.
