Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 8 Things You Need To Know About Paul Bettany's Vision
2. There Might Be A Vision Solo Film
Last year Marvel threw down the (Infinity?) gauntlet to all their superhero movie rivals by making the ballsy decision to announce all their upcoming projects through to the far-off future date of 2020, when we'll all be flying around on jetpacks and discussing whether or not it was a good idea to split the third Avengers flick into two films. Amongst that list were some new, somewhat more obscure but no less brilliant characters like Black Panther and Captain Marvel. The Vision was not amongst that list, but as recently as 2009 Marvel have said that they were working on plans for the character to get his own movie. Good news for Paul Bettany! Whether it's good news for the audience is another thing. The character mostly doesn't fly solo in the comics because, well, he's a robot. One that sort of develops emotions, but also one that's mostly indestructible. Still, if it happens, they don't have to worry about the probably CGI character ageing by then.
