Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 9 Important Things Hidden In The New Trailer

8. The Extent Of Scarlet Witch's Powers

Still, at least fans finally have some idea of what Scarlet Witch's powers are. In the comics they've always been sort of ill-defined, beginning as a sort of low-level trickery that let her do basic magic spells and zap people, before growing to the point that she can warp the very fabric of reality to give her fake babies The Vision couldn't and €œcuring€ 90% of the world's mutants. In Age Of Ultron it looks like it's skewing a little more to the former rather than the latter, with the aforementioned scene that appears to show her blasting Ultron drones with those magical zaps. She also makes the ground shake under Captain America, adding to the destruction in one of the film's many action sequences. Most interesting of all, though, is the ever-so-brief glimpse of Scarlet Witch apparently putting Black Widow under her spell; a dash of magic vapour makes Natasha's eyes red. Last film it was Hawkeye, now perhaps Black Widow is going to turn on her colleagues? Or maybe Hulk - after all, his eyes were going red at the end of the last trailer.
