Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 9 Important Things Hidden In The New Trailer

7. Quicksilver's Powers Are Pretty Detailed

The other big concern when it came to the Maximoffs is Quicksilver. Just... everything about him. Fox managed to beat Marvel to the punch with X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which starred Evan Peters from American Horror Story and Kick-Ass as the super-speedster, and it was awesome. The scene where the world slows down around him as he helps spring Magneto from a government prison was a highlight of last year. Meanwhile, what little has been shown of Aaron Taylor-Johnson - also of Kick-Ass fame - in the role of Quicksilver in the MCU have been less encouraging. His hair and outfit look kinda goofy, and surely the super-speed effects are going to be a patch on the elegant and visually inventive take from Days Of Future Past? Well, worry no more, because it looks like it's all worked out for the best. Taylor-Johnson looks way cooler in motion (and remember, the photos of Peters looked a little janky too), with a different take on the super-speed than the X-Men movie: he leaves blurring trails behind him, a neat visual symmetry to he "vapour" of his sister's magic powers. And, like X-Men, the film's got the time-slowing-down thing, seen when he's schooling Cap.
