Avengers: Age Of Ultron Ending - 14 Implications For Phase 3 And Beyond

4. Klaue Will Be Back For Black Panther

It's already semi-confirmed that Andy Serkis will reprise his now-confirmed role as Ulysses Klaue for the Black Panther movie, and now that his origin is so closely tied to Vibranium, it seems even more likely.

Some Marvel fans might take umbrage at the fact that Klaue is an amalgamation of two characters (Ulysses Klaw and his father), and that he didn't lose his arm to T'Challa's vengeance, but there is a possibility of the smuggler still fitting into the universe nicely.

With Vibranium/tissue synthesis now a reality Klaue may use his new-found wealth to attempt to co-erce Helen Cho (or someone similarly skilled) to rebuild him an arm, rather than him having his traditional weaponised appendage. He's one of the foremost experts in the material having stolen a lot of it, and finding out its added capabilities might well draw him back to Wakanda to face-off with Black Panther.

Just looking at Serkis suggests he was committed to more than the few minutes of cameo time in Age Of Ultron: he's bulked up considerably and he looks like a lot more than a supporting character. And while he's notorious for his commitment to roles these days, the authenticity of his look suggests Marvel should have faith in him as a long-term player.
