6. Red Hulk

Who Is He? Red Hulk is General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross - a long time adversary of the classic green version of the Hulk who, after exposure to gamma radiation and cosmic rays, became an uninhibited, tactically-intelligent opponent to the big green hero. As well as being a great military strategist, Red Hulk possesses the same superhuman strength as the classic Hulk, excellent stamina and durability, a regenerative healing factor, the ability to absorb energy and the ability to generate heat (the angrier he gets, the hotter he gets). He originally appeared as a villain, but has since joined the Avengers and become more heroic. Why He'll Be Missed Red Hulk is one of the only characters strong enough to venture out in to the Ultron Sentinel-filled streets. He actually attacks them in order to get his hands on one to take back for study - which he successfully achieves. He also disposes of Taskmaster, who was initially working with the heroes, but revealed himself to be untrustworthy. He is also key to getting Black Widow and Moon Knight to the Savage Land, where they reveal Nick Fury's plans to stop Ultron.
