9. Scarlet Witch

Why She Could Die: Like her brother Quicksilver, killing off the Scarlet Witch is the safe option. She goes in to the movie as a non-established character with whom the audience have no prior relationship and the likelihood is that she wouldn't be anywhere near as badly missed in future movies as the likes of Iron Man or Hulk. Plus, in the comics, she's a massively powerful character with reality-warping abilities and, although her abilities seem more based on telekinesis in this movie, she's probably going to be extremely potent and a new "big gun" for the Avengers, and having Ultron and his robot army kill her off could be a good way to emphasise how big of a threat they pose. Why She Could Live: Also like her brother Quicksilver, killing off the Scarlet Witch could turn out to be a crazy move if the movie gets release and it turns out that she's the most popular character since Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. Similarly, like her brother, if her death is actually seen as Marvel Studios taking the easy way out, they'll still be showing a distinct lack of guts on the major death front. Likelihood: 2/10. She has less of a chance of dying than her brother, largely thanks to the fact that she's female and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is distinctly lacking in female characters. She's also a more interesting character, given her more esoteric abilities, and for that reason the chances of her dying are slim.
