Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 12 Things To Expect (That We Don't Know Already)

8. The Savage Land

The Savage Land has been hinted at in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man 2, when the keen-eyed amongst you will have noticed, in a scene in which Tony Stark opened a case that belonged to his father, there was the first Captain America comic book, a home video, a journal, blueprints for the original arc reactor, a satellite photo and a map of Antarctica inside. On that map, there is clearly an annotated zone which matches up with the Savage Land€™s location in the comic books. When you also factor in the apparently global effects of Ultron's attacks in this movie, and the fact that Nick Fury has a secret base in the Savage Land (which he is likely to have utilised, given that he's been on the run, and that he used it in the Age of Ultron comic book story), the Savage Land becomes a distinct possibility in the movie to the extent that we pretty much expect to see it. It's an awesome location with loads of weird and wonderful views, characters and animals and it'd be great to see it in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
