4. "Avengers...Assemble"

Endgame also paid off another moment teased in Age of Ultron, but it's a moment that the series has been building towards since day one.

After Thanos gives Cap a mighty beat down, an exhausted Cap receives a transmission from Falcon (Anthony Mackie), who tells him, "On your left", after which all of the Avengers revived by The Hulk's Infinity Gauntlet emerge through portals created by the Sanctum Sorcerers.

Cue a ridiculously epic montage of all the dusted heroes and their respective armies from Asgard and Wakanda showing up, not to forget Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), now kitted out in her Rescue armour from the comics.

And once everyone is gathered, Cap gets to finally drop the line everybody wanted to hear - "Avengers...assemble." And it was just as glorious as you'd expect, serving as the perfect primer for the insanity that followed.
