9. How Did Cap Undo The Soul Stone Curse?

Speaking of Cap, one of the biggest wrinkles in the movie's plot comes from realising the Avengers can't just pluck the Infinity Stones out of time, as it will literally undo time itself.

Bruce Banner's solution is replacing the Stones back in time once their future purpose has been served, and it leads to Captain America jetting through time at the end of the movie, re-stabilising reality and letting the Stones resume their natural course.

Only... the Soul Stone is kept on Vormir, and the only way to get it - through a prophesied line delivered by Red Skull - is to pay tribute; a sacrifice. "Lose that which you love. A soul... for a soul."

How then, did Cap "return" the Stone?

Putting aside the fact that his greatest nemesis is now a space ghost haunting the place he's returning to, is there even a way to "undo" ancient space magic?

The movie doesn't go there (for somewhat obvious reasons), but think about this for just a second and it starts to fall apart.
