A-Force has been on the minds of Marvel fans for a good while now, and given how the women of the MCU have spoken openly about the prospect before, could it be possible that Phase 4 comes good on the speculation, and makes the wish a reality?
Endgame had its A-Force moment when Captain Marvel arrived on the battlefield to escort the new Infinity Gauntlet to the Quantum Realm, and it was great to see. For a series that hadn't always done right by its female characters especially, to see the progress that's been made over the last phase in a gigantic action sequence worked perfectly, and perhaps even positions the series to attempt a film fronted entirely by women in the near future.
The A-Force comic was short-lived, appearing only during the time-distorting events of 2015's Secret Wars, but it made a big impression. With the MCU boasting enough women warriors to form their own Avengers, and with more set to arrive with The Eternals, A-Force should really be a no-brainer.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
