Avengers: Endgame - 10 Films That MUST Happen Next
7. Professor Hulk
It's difficult to put into words just how special, outrageous and downright entertaining it was to see the 'Professor' version of Hulk appear in Endgame, but if anything's become clear in the wake of Endgame, it's that fans sure do love them some Mark Ruffalo.
Ruffalo has been the perfect Bruce Banner for seven whole years now, and he's managed to make that impression without a solo film of his own. This is apparently down to a rights snafu with Universal Pictures, and while it's possible to argue that Endgame brought Bruce Banner's journey to an end, I'm not so sure the novelty of seeing Ruffalo's green visage talking quantum physics will ever get old.
Sure, it's possible to have too much of a good thing, but it's so refreshing to see the Hulk at peace. No longer in turmoil, Bruce and the enormous green rage-monster coexist together, and there's so much scope to do more with that character than the Avengers films necessarily allow.
In a way, Endgame may have even opened the door for She-Hulk to appear. Jennifer Walters - Banner's cousin in the comics - is yet to appear in live action, but with Bruce having perfected his gamma experiments to bring balance to his Hyde-like affliction, the potential and technology for She-Hulk to appear is very much there. Why not do it in a film dedicated top-to-bottom to Hulk?
