5. Cap Reuniting With Bucky

The relationship between Steve and Bucky (platonic, if I may add; regardless of how badly Steve/Bucky shippers want “Stucky” to be real) is one that Kevin Feige and the Russo’s really wanted to make sure audiences knew was an important one. Steve was there to watch Bucky dust in Infinity War and the whole last act of Civil War is about how Steve can’t let Tony get revenge on Buck for murdering his parents.

There is a small moment between the two. Before Steve goes back in time to return the stones, him and Bucky have a nice moment ending in a hug and Bucky saying, “I’m going to miss you.” Wait, if it’s inly supposed to be five seconds for Bruce, Sam, and Bucky, why would Bucky say this. All signs point to the fact that Bucky knew of Steve’s plan to remain in the forties and finally get some of that life Tony’s been talking about.

The goodbye is honestly not enough for the amount of time we’ve spent seeing these two’s friendship flesh out, but at least it’s something. Better than the goodbye Tony got with Rhodes!

If you talk in a theatre I'm in, be prepared to get some pretty passive aggressive stares.
