Avengers: Endgame - 12 Plot Hints From The New Trailer

Let's just talk about Black Widow for a second.

She's got some cool new hair, which is a literal mix of her former red and blonde 'dos. She goes to recruit Clint out of Ronin-ing about to bring him on board with the team and pull him out of his funk. She's also making mincemeat of that target in Avengers HQ, emptying an entire clip into the dead-center of the target before swiftly reloading and doing it again.

Between the screentime she gets in this trailer and her prominence in Captain Marvel's post-credits scene, it looks as though Endgame will be positioning her as something of a full-blown leader for the team. Which is wonderful. Ms. Natasha Romanoff has always been something of a rogue character, capable of switching allegiances at any given moment, so to see her step up in such a tremendous way in the face of tragedy is bound to be an incredibly awesome bit of development for her character.

The Russos did say in interviews around the time of Infinity War that characters who might not have had the biggest roles in that film were going to get their due, with Captain America and Hulk being obvious examples. It looks like Black Widow is going to fall into that category as well.
