Avengers: Endgame: 12 Post-Credits Scenes We Most Want To See

10. Back To A Fantastic Past

Not so long ago, Bob Iger and Kevin Feige hinted that we might soon see the MCU heading to places and times we hadn't seen before. Obviously, Captain Marvel's 1990s setting fit that agenda, but there could and should be more to come on that front.

Now that the Fox deal is done, Disney can start making real plans for their Fantastic Four revival (because it's definitely coming) and the smartest way to handle them is to go vintage. The modern Fantastic Four movies haven't worked because they've got the tone entirely wrong and the only one that came anywhere near the ideal for this property was Brad Bird's The Incredibles.

So, Marvel should send the Four back to the 1960s, adopt the same kitsch tone as The Incredibles and not have to negotiate dropping them into the modern MCU. A post-credits sting wouldn't even need to have the cast involved, all we'd need is a time-stamp on screen and then something hinting at a period Fantastic Four origin.
