8. Kang The Conqueror Watches On

Though the rumour that a time-travelling Tony Stark would be evolving into supervillain Kang The Conqueror appear to have been pulled out of someone's backside, there have been some rumours lining him up as a future MCU villain.

We've already had a pretty big hint from some official tie-in artwork that Endgame might have a "bigger threat" than Thanos (it's more likely poetic language than anything else) and with the film ending the Infinity Saga, there'll be a power vacuum.

Why not have a post-credits scene where it's revealed that Kang has been watching on and sees Thanos' failure as an opportunity to prove that he was always more powerful. Cue an ominous threat to conquer rather than destroy the universe and you have your new MCU threat.
