5. Kang Appears (And Is Actually Tony Stark)

After whispers of there being a "bigger threat" to the MCU were stoked by some artwork referencing the fact,

Probably the most immediately infamous "leak" for Endgame came courtesy of 4Chan (as ever), where one intrepid fantasist came up with the idea that Tony Stark will end up meeting the Celestials and being given the power to undo the snap himself. He will then apparently go mad with power and turn into Kang The Conqueror, forcing the Avengers to kill Stark in the past to stop it happening.

Response

Fan fiction is a terrible thing sometimes. If Tony Stark - whose arc is heading away from extremism - becomes Kang, it will be in a dream somewhere and not in this movie.

Kang might well appear in the future of the MCU - it's very possible - but he's too big to bring in here, surely?
