Avengers Endgame: 15 Under-Appreciated Moments (That Deserve More Love)

6. Peter Quill's Introduction (From Outside POV)

Professor Hulk
Marvel Studios

This one gets one of the biggest laughs out of audiences when watched onscreen, but is also just as often swallowed up by focus placed on the old guard whose time in the MCU has ended, and the overall sense of nostalgic sadness the movie gives fans.

Though it served as a fun, stylish intro to the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, and set the tone for the rest of the film as a fun space romp with great eighties music, the scene where Peter Quill first lands on Morag is just plain hilarious without the benefit of a full musical score.

Peter Quill just lip-syncs to himself without an audience, and it's... really dumb to watch, more so because it's Rhodey and Nebula watching, with Rhodey just tired of other people's stupidity and Nebula having no patience specifically for Quill's special brand of stupidity. The icing on the cake is when they knock him out mid-song in order to take the power stone for themselves.

It was just... a satisfying scene, and deserves to be watched a hundred times over.
