18. A Billion To One Chance Of Survival?

When Scott Lang exits the Quantum Realm via a Rattus Ex Machina moment, he heads to the Avengers Facility to explain his plan for time travel, which mentions the fact that time doesn't react the same way as it does outside of the realm but fails to mention the fact that Lang was literally told about time vortexes in Ant-Man And The Wasp.

Tony Stark rejects the plan out of hand, saying that it's an impossible proposition and that anyone entering and safely leaving the Quantum Realm is a billion to one fluke. Well, it's not, is it? Because Lang didn't just escape the Quantum Realm once. He did it twice. And so too did Janet Van Dyne. If it really is a billion to one, having three episodes linked to one single small pod of people would be an astonishing coincidence.

Quite why Tony chooses to ignore evidence and precedent for his own assumptions is beyond logic.
