17. Professor Hulk

Even with a hint that this was the direction we were going to see Hulk and Bruce Banner going in Endgame, the revelation of their new combined identity was both incredibly funny and properly batsh*t crazy.

This was an intelligent Hulk who had clearly turned up the goofiness when he tried to cook up the magic formula and who took some of Hulk's fondness for his fans on Sakaar and filtered it into a willingness to pose for selfies with kids and act like a walking PSA. Kids, incidentally, who fail to recognise actual Captain America sitting with Hulk. Literally the most famous superhero in their country.

This new Hulk is very funny, but seeing the monster with an immaculate (and hugely impressive) version of Mark Ruffalo's face and facial tics is just incredibly freaky.
