Avengers: Endgame - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

32. Star-Lord

Guardians of the galaxy Star Lord Crying
Marvel

Finally, we can stop blaming Star-Lord for the ending of Infinity War because everyone's been saved (nobody mention Vision or Black Widow or Tony OKAY?) and he has the love of his life back, sort of.

Star-Lord is the best of the returning Guardians (other than the time travellers) because of his interactions with Gamora (ouch) and Thor at the end of the movie and his part in that sequence basically confirms that Guardians Vol 3 is going to focus on the search for Gamora. Which definitely sounds like something we'd all be happy to see.

He wants her to fall in love with him all over again. Tell me that's not romantic (as long as it doesn't go all Passengers creepy, of course).

31. Frigga

Frigga Thor: The Dark World Jane Foster
Marvel Studios

Thanks to Thor and Rocket travelling back to Asgard in 2014 and Natalie Portman not being available fully (or willing, who knows?) to play the sort of Jiminy Cricket conscience role to the broken God Of Thunder, his mother Frigga returned.

Her words of motivation are well-crafted and it's a smart way to deal with Thor's mental situation (though the salad joke is an unnecessary low blow) and more importantly, it sets up the idea that the heroes cannot simply just jump around in time saving people from death, because it wouldn't necessarily be the right thing to do.
