The last time we saw Cassie Lang was in Ant-Man And The Wasp when she was a typical 11-year-old girl, delighted to spend time with her father and seemingly intent on following in his footsteps to become a hero.

Though we saw Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne and Hope Van Dyne lost to the Decimation at the end of Ant-Man And The Wasp, Cassie's fate was not confirmed.

Now

It seems that Cassie survived the snap, according to rumours that she is involved in Endgame. Those rumours suggest she has been recast and will be played by older actor Emma Fuhrmann, who is 17 and would struggle to convincingly play a 12-year-old.

So the big change for Cassie - all narrative concerns aside - is that she's going to jump through her teenage years as the film jumps forward four or five years. Whether she will be on the road to becoming Stature - the hero identity she took on in the comics - is another matter, but with whispers of a Young Avengers movie on the way, it's certainly possible.
