Avengers: Every Single Deleted Scene From Endgame & Infinity War

In spite of bring a big purple meanie with destruction on his mind, Thanos was still successfully portrayed as something of a sympathetic character. That was in no small part due to the way in which the creative team leaned on his tragic backstory, eventually weaving the full story into a short monologue on Titan when he recounted the planet's destruction to Doctor Strange.

However, rumour has it that earlier drafts of the script actually had a lot more of The Mad Titan's backstory, delving into how all of the aforementioned destruction went down and even showing audiences some of it. In fact some rumours suggest that there was up to 30 minutes of deleted Thanos backstory.

Whether or not any of those scenes were ever filmed remains unknown, and while it certainly would be nice to see said footage (if it exists), the film did a masterful job of conveying his backstory without ever bogging the story down with too much of it.
