4. Adam Warlock's Cocoon (Thor: The Dark World Mid-Credits Scene & Guardians Of The Galaxy)

Avengers: Infinity War Part One and Part Two will take elements from a couple of comic book stories, in addition to including some content unique to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of those stories is its comic book namesake, Infinity War, and the other is the more well-known Infinity Gauntlet arc, which came before it. One of the main characters in both of those stories is Adam Warlock. In Infinity War, he splits into two beings - one being an evil being named the Magus - and in Infinity Gauntlet he both warns the heroes about the threat of Thanos and assists them in combating that same threat. Given his importance in those stories, he will undoubtedly appear in the Avengers: Infinity War movies. Therefore, the fact that his cocoon has been shown in the Collector's museum in both the Thor: The Dark World mid-credits scene and Guardians of the Galaxy is definitely foreshadowing his important role in those movies.
