Avengers: Infinity War - 10 Fresh Predictions Based On The Trailers

Casualties are an inevitability in any armed conflict, and that will no doubt be doubly true when it comes to the Infinity War. Fans have long been speculating about which heroes will snuff it, and Vision is often touted as a prime candidate for the morgue.

Things don't look too good for him in the trailers, especially in that scene where Black Order members Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive are prying the Mind Stone from his forehead. It's unclear whether the Android Avenger is capable of surviving without the cosmic gem, or if Thanos's cronies succeed in taking it, but one thing is for sure: he's unlikely to come away from the encounter in good shape.

In the second trailer, there is yet more ominous footage of Vision, including a shot of Black Panther's Shuri projecting a hologram of the hero's disembodied head. Could this be foreshadowing Vision's death? That's certainly a possibility, but here's another theory: Shuri uses her techy knowhow to save his life.

The first trailer includes cryptic footage of Vision in human form. Although this could be a hallucination of sorts conjured up by his lover Scarlet Witch or Thanos's trickery, it's also feasible that T'Challa's genius sister has figured out a way to grant the Android a fleshy existence in the aftermath of the Mind Stone extraction.
