Avengers: Infinity War - 10 Things That Must Happen In Part 2

10. Everyone Must Mourn The Death Of A Major Character

Any movie that opens bathing in the death of a major character cements itself as a worthwhile sequel almost instantly. This makes a lot of sense on a narrative level, too; the MCU is already overcrowded with characters, and with an endless slate of upcoming movies on the horizon, things are bound to get a little cramped. Also: what better way to get people back to see Part 2 than with an unexpected death in the first one? So Part 2 must open with the aftermath of a prior death, with the surviving characters coming off the back of a major battle with Thanos. Who will meet their end? Thor? Captain America? Iron Man? After all, all of the actors associated with these characters have already expressed either an intention to leave the MCU, or their contracts will be up. It could be anyone. Anyway, opening the film with the other characters dealing with the death of an Avenger would certainly imbue Part 2 with a real momentum from the get go - hell hath no fury like a bunch of superheroes who have just seen their close friend murdered, right?
