6. This Is Chris Evans' Facial Prosthetic For The Avengers' Shawarma Scene

It's no secret that when Joss Whedon filmed the unforgettable shawarma tag at the end of The Avengers, it was organised so last-minute that Chris Evans' beard was in fact grown out for work on another movie.

As a result, Evans had to wear a prosthetic to cover the facial growth while resting with his hand over his face to cover the make-up seam.

However, until now we haven't seen a clear image of the prosthetic itself, but accompanying the roundtable discussion of this sequence, we got our first close-up look of the gaudy cover-up. Whedon also added:

"Evans had a beard, so they put...it looked like the Warren Beatty Dick Tracy, giant jaw on him. And he just sort of hid it like this."
