Avengers: Infinity War - 10 Villains (Other Than Thanos) That Could Appear
2. Thane
In 2013 Marvel comics introduced readers to Thane, the illegitimate son that Thanos fathered on an unwilling Inhuman woman during one of his many attempts to conquer the galaxy. While previous "children" such as Gamora and Nebula had already been introduced, Thane is Thanos' only biological child and one of the few beings in the universe that genuinely scares him. Such was the extent of this fear that Thanos set out on a giant killing spree, killing every Inhuman child he could find that was the same age as his son. Thanos' fears did come to pass when Thane imprisoned his father in a block of amber, leaving him in a state of living death. It is unlikely that the MCU will have the time to go into all of this even with two films to cover. So far, Thanos has been pretty single-minded with his motives, so it would be odd for him to split his focus looking for his son when he's already looking for the Infinity Gems. However, Thane could provide a connection between Infinity War and the Inhuman film which is set to follow it. And if Thanos is killed, or at least defeated, over the course of Infinity War, Thane could potentially be a future villain for the Avengers to deal with as the MCU carries on.
With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
